CITRIC ACID

Citric Acid monohydrate (E 330).

Used as an acidifying agent for musts and wines.

 

Allows the correction of acidity in white, rosés and red wines.

Also used widely in beverages, ice cream, sauce, etc., for its stabilizing action as an antioxidant.

POTASSIUM BISULFITE 15%

Aqueous solution of Potassium Bisulfite with 150 g/L of SO2, also known by sulphurous anhydride (E 228).

Used: 

As antibacterial and antioxidant in the conservation of wines. 

 

As a disinfectant in winemaking.

POTASSIUM METABISULFITE

Potassium Metabisulfite is a food additive with multiple functions (E 224).

Used as a food preservative, has antibacterial and antioxidant action.

 

In oenology, sulphitation of wines and musts.
